The Ten Commandments of Foreplay

A lot of you gentlemen are every bit as good as you think you are, when it comes to providing pleasure to the ladies. But…there are many of you who are nowhere close. To help you (and us ladies) out, I’ve taken an informal survey of several young women and compiled the results to create The Ten Commandments of Foreplay. On behalf of womankind, I implore you to follow them.

Commandment 1:

Thou Shall Not Pressure Us

Chances are we’ve made up our minds on how far we’re willing (or unwilling) to go, even before setting foot into someone’s bedroom. By pressuring us to go farther and farther, you are in fact making us less likely to do anything but stop the presses and leave, all the while thinking you’re a total ass.

Commandment 2:

Thou Shall Not Beg

Although begging is much less offensive than sexual pressure, as it is completely without the "date rape" vibe, it’s also unlikely to get you the results you want. Foreplay isn’t a favor women owe to men. It’s a fun, grown-up, mutually pleasurific activity. Beg and you’ll instantly deflate from "lion" to "pussy".

Commandment 3:

Thou Shall Not Ask "What Do You Want Me to Do?"

If you have a naked or semi-clothed girl in your bed, you should have a pretty decent idea of what it is that she wants you to do. As one of the women polled replied: "take initiative and we’ll tell you if you’re going in the wrong direction".

Commandment 4:

Thou Shall Be Gentle With The Clitoris

By now, I’m sure (I pray) you’re acquainted with the clitoris. I’m sure you know (I really, really, hope) that the little pearl of skin is responsible for a whole lot of pleasure. What you may not know is that you need not use a lot of pressure to elicit said pleasure. A gentle, rapid touch will get us to Elysium. A heavy-handed rub will just get us to chafe.

Commandment 5:

Thou Shall Not Slurp the Nipples

We love the nipple action. It’s probably the erogenous zone for most women. Some strategically located licks are guaranteed to drive your lady wild. Note, I said "licks" and not "slurps". If you’re into the slurping, as one wise woman says, "take it downtown."

Commandment 6:

Thou Shall Be Willing to Give Head, If You Want to Receive Head

Commandment 7:

Thou Shall Clip Thy Fingernails

Commandment 8:

Thou Shall Be Generous

We know you want to get off, but so do we! Remember – foreplay is about mutual gratification.

Commandment 9:

Thou Shall Shower Us with Kisses

Sweep us off of our feet with intense French kisses and tease us with affectionate pecks all over our bodies (but stay away from our feet and our ears, please!). Kiss us up and down until we can’t stand it anymore. If you can manage this, a more passionate, exquisitely intense foreplay session is guaranteed to be yours.

Commandment 10:

Thou Shall Focus on Making Us Feel Beautiful

We feel more comfortable with ourselves and our bodies, and thus more sexy, when we know that you are enamored with us, when we can tell by your comments (hold the cheese) or the look in your eyes, that you think we’re ravishing. Whether you’re involved in one night play or long-term play, do your best to let the lady in your sheets know you think she is gorgeous.
