The Roots
Game Theory
Def Jam

When I write these reviews, I try to keep it simple. No need to get wordy and technical on this album. This is a certified classic, timeless if you will. Appealing to the conscious, the street & the mainstream, “Game Theory” flows like a well put together mix tape. From the Jay Dilla tribute to the very last track, "Can't Stop This" (produced by Jay Dilla) The Roots stay true to form. It’s real refreshing to hear an album like this. It makes you think and evokes emotion. The same applies to "Long Time", featuring a reinvented Peedi Peedi (aka Peedi Crak), flowing like a hungry emcee. This piece of work gave me the damn chills when I first heard it.
Whether you're a new fan or an old fan, you will not be disappointed. So what are you waiting for? Stop wasting time! Go cop that shit! I'm out.
